The "MitKarte" app (hereinafter "the App") is an offline German numbers learning game. You hear euro prices in German, choose the correct amount, make change, and can play a local multiplayer match on the same Wi‑Fi. Operator of the App and contracting party: Mehrdad Peykari 1120 Vienna Austria (Hereinafter referred to as the "operator").
These Terms of Use apply to the use of the MitKarte App and this website. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these terms. Conflicting terms of the user shall not apply. The App is aimed at consumers (private individuals).
The App offers: • Customer Game — hear a spoken euro price and tap the amount you heard • Cashier Game — make exact change with coins and notes • Learn Numbers — tap numbers to hear them in German • Local Battle — up to 8 players on the same Wi‑Fi / hotspot, without an internet server The App works offline and does not require an account. Gameplay progress is stored only on your device.
The operator does not provide user accounts or a backend of its own. You do not register. An optional display name may be stored locally for Local Battle.
Local Battle connects devices on the same local network. Devices exchange game data such as names, answers, and scores over that network. This traffic does not go through the operator’s servers. You are responsible for using Local Battle only on networks you are allowed to use and for the names you choose.
The App may display advertisements via Google AdMob (including banners, interstitial, and rewarded ads). Use of the App is currently free of charge. The operator reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future; users will be informed separately.
The App is provided as is. There is no claim to uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific learning outcomes. Text-to-speech quality depends on the voices installed on your device.
You undertake not to misuse the App, not to disrupt Local Battle for others, and not to reverse-engineer or redistribute the App except as permitted by law. You must comply with applicable law when using the App.
The App, its name, logo, artwork, and content are protected. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for private, non-commercial purposes on your own devices.
The operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited to the breach of essential contractual duties and to typical, foreseeable damage, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. The operator is not liable for the conduct of other Local Battle players.
The operator may amend these Terms of Use. The current version is published on this website and, where practical, in the App. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
